School Rules
School working hours:
Classes- I to XII Summer: 7.20 am-1.30 pm winter: 7.50 am-2.00 pm
Visiting hours: (With prior appointment)

Office : 9.00 am – 12.00 noon (on all working days)

Principal : 10: 00am – 12:00 pm (With prior appointment)

Vice-Principal/ Head Mistress/Teachers : On PTM days and third Saturdays.
General rules (for students):
-
Students should come to school in neat and tidy uniform, proper turnout: - with polished shoes and trimmed nails.
-
Students must be regular and punctual.
-
Students should take care of the school property, if any damage done, they have to bear the cost of that property.
-
Students suffering from any kind of infectious diseases will not be allowed to attend the classes.
-
Speaking in English is compulsory within the school premises.
-
Students are not allowed to bring cash or mobile, strict disciplinary action will be taken, if found guilty.
-
Irregular attendance, disobedience, unreasonable behavior shall be strongly dealt with.
-
Bullying and the use of foul language are punishable offences.
-
Student should not indulge in any kind of violence in any form.
-
Students should not bring any sharp or pointed objects to school.
-
Students of classes I-V are not permitted to wear watches.
-
Girls with long hair should have two plaits with red ribbons and one with short hair should tie it neatly with red hair band.
-
Boys’ hair must be short and neatly trimmed.
-
Students must abide by all the rules and regulations of the school.
Note for the Parents:
-
Parents must attend all parents’ teacher meetings (P.T.M)
-
Parents must read and sign the remarks in the diary given by the subject teachers.
-
Parents can contact the office in case of any emergency.
-
The school will not be responsible for the loss of any valuable brought to school by the students.
-
NCC is optional for physically fit boys /girls.
-
A fine of Rs.100/- will be imposed for loss of diary.
-
Name of the child will be automatically struck off from the register if the fee is not paid in time
-
A child cannot leave the school premises without obtaining permission from the Principal.
Library rules:
-
The students should observe complete silence in the library.
-
All the students from class VII onwards are allowed to issue one book for two weeks.
-
Reference books and textbooks will not be issued.
-
In case a book is misused or lost, the student will replace the book or pay the full price of the Book.
-
If the issued books are not returned in time, no books will be issued further.
Examination:
During the academic year, the school will conduct the exams as per the given schedule.
Promotion rules:
-
Class I to VIII: There will be no detention of any student upto class VIII.
-
Class IX: For promotion in class IX, methodology given by CBSE will be adopted.
-
For Class XI: A candidate should obtain not less than 33% marks in each subject. In case of a subject involving practical work, a student must obtain 33% marks in theory and 33% marks in practical separately in addition to 33% marks in aggregate in order to qualify in the subject. A student failing in one subject will be eligible to take a supplementary examination and will be promoted to the next higher class subject to passing the examination as per CBSE norms.
